My dog has been struggling for months to get up the stairs. She really has to push herself now to manage it. Tonight was the first time she slipped half-way up and couldn’t really get herself back up. She did eventually but that was with me supporting her weight. I worry that this will happen one day when no one is home, and she’ll hurt herself. When my old dog started getting sick I rememeber she full on tumbled down the stairs because her legs gave out and it was the most horrible thing ever. Seriously, everyone should just live in bungalows. Fuck stairs!
Just got home from work and the parents are still away so my wee dog has been home alone from 2-7pm today. That never happens because my mum is always here and I feel so bad because she was so excited when I got home and she wanted to play fetch (keep in mind so is an OLD dog, so if she wants to play a game that involves moving she’s REALLY bored)
And now that I’m upstairs on the PC I feel bad, like I should go downstairs and hang out with her a bit. She did empty the bin so I should probably tell her off or something but I don’t really care and she’s too cute to tell off. And she was home alone all day so what else is she going to do?
I don’t know how people who work 9-5 can have pets. Do they just leave them in the house all day? Isn’t that kind of mean?
I just taught my dog to do a trick!!! We’ve had her since I was 8 and this is the first time I’ve taught her something. I wish I got it on film man she is so cute!!
Someone missed me :) Good to be back home x (Taken with Instagram)
My dog just came up the stairs and practically ran into my room and was jumping about like crazy. she never does this so I freak out a bit thinking there might be someone downstairs (girl alone in a house at night - obviously) So I go down stairs and she runs down with me…..turns out theres no one there, she just really wanted a biscuit. nice one bess.
Then she came upstairs with me again and wouldn’t lie down so I took her into my parents room cos that’s where she sleeps but she was really uneasy I think she was confused cos my mum wasn’t there but I started thinking theres was something wrong. She was just pacing about for 5 minutes or something. I ended up lying with her, clapping her, trying to calm her down for 20 minutes till she dozed off a bit.
Seriously, she’s getting weird in her old age.
