Got the bus. Had no idea where I was getting off so I had to get the driver to give me a shout when we were there. The walk from the bus stop to the base was ALOT Shorter than I thought so I was there a good 40 mins early.
Then I got my hair put in rollers, and got my costume on. It looked awesome. I didn’t get a picture with it on though cos they took it off right away and only put it back on me for the scene. So anyway, once I had the top and trousers on I went to get my hair and make-up finished. When I walked in, to my surpise, JASON ISAACS was sitting there. you know, this guy
That’s right! I wsa sitting next to Jason Isaacs while he was getting fake scars and tattoos put on. I looked like a right idiot just sitting there smiling to myself. I was too scared to say anything to him and I was too embarassed to ask for a picture as no one else seemed to care that JASON ISAACS was there :P lol. Anyway, after that excitment I went to set and just had to stand there in front of the camera and smile “warmly and gently” haha. So yeah that was awkward, but all the crew were all really nice and asking me if I wasn’t to uncomfortable in the armour. So yeah, After the scene was done they took the armour off right away and we went back to base for lunch (at 5:30pm :P haha)After lunch they told me I could go and I saw Jason Isaacs again :D I still can’t beleive he was there. So unexpected.
So yeah anyway, the story is that The dad is giving his little girl into trouble and for some reason he has a Joan of Arc statue on his desk. The little girl then has a vision of Joan of Arc coming to life which gives her the courage to stand up to her dad or something. Whatever. Was still a good day :) Mega boring at times cos I was sitting doing nothing for 4 hours, but still :)
I have to go back on monday for the same thing, but on a roof :S lol
My dad came to pick me up and we listened to Christmas songs all the way home from Edinburgh to Glasgow. GOOD TIMES
I wish I had something I was good at, so I could go somewhere. I don’t know, I don’t have any specific interests in anything that could lead me into a career y’know? I guess everyone’s in the same boat, but sometimes it’s just scary thinking about where and what I’ll be doing in the future. I just don’t want to be stuck in a rut my whole life..
I wanna have an experience like “The Beach”. I know it gets completely fucked up and they all go a bit insane, but it’s an experience. I would be great to look back on it and say you did it. That you were part of something like that. I would love it!
I really want to visit Scotland. Everyone always says it’s a lovely place. I just don’t have a reason to go there and it’s abit far to go without a reason and my friends aren’t exactly the “scenic adventurer” type. Shame. I hope I can go someday.
